Fishpork’s 10 Favorite Shows of 2013

The top of this list wasn’t all that hard to come up with. Keaton Henson’s highly-anticipated first U.S. blew away all expectations, DIIV overshadowed Trent Reznor’s disappointing How To Destroy Angels live show, and Father John Misty was Father John Misty. We’ve become sort of FJM groupies at this point with six shows in the bag, as J. Tillman’s stage antics keep getting better and better. In the end, 2013 presented us with an outstanding live agenda. These are our 10 favorite shows of the year:

1. Keaton Henson @ Bookstore Cafe

2. Father John Misty @ Webster Hall/Maxwell’s/Terminal 5/MHOW

3. Foals @ Governor’s Ball

4. DIIV @ Wellmont Theater

5. Fuck Buttons @ Le Poisson Rouge

6. Girls Against Boys @ Johnny Brenda’s

7. Eels @ World Cafe Live

8. Eric Copeland @ Kensington Ministry

9. Mouse on Mars @ Johnny Brenda’s

10. Jim James @ Music Hall of Williamsburg
